This is a blog-based experiment designed to shed light on what it takes to do what interests you everyday. Hopefully it will provide inspiration and insight into way that you can change the world or become part of the new wave of disruptors and entrepreneurs. Through the use of six simple questions you’ll find poignant and sometimes humorous advice from those who have already established themselves in areas of the world that are of interest to you.
I’m a recent college graduate who has been doing a lot of thinking about just where it is my life is headed. This questioning process was the impetus for the experiment. I hope you like and enjoy what you see here. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at b (dot) maier (at) umiami (dot) edu.
What’s in a name?
Perhaps you’re wondering where the name of this blog came from. The title is a reference to a quote from Soren Kierkegaard:
“Where am I? Who am I? How did I come to be here? What is this thing called the world? How did I come into the world? Why was I not consulted? And If I am compelled to take part in it, Where is the director? I want to see him.”
While I’m relatively indifferent on Kierkegaard’s philosophy, I did find the quote humorous and quite relevant to the experiment going on here.
